Marine-grade 6061-T6 aluminum halyard tip designed to cap Schedule 40 1-inch ID aluminum pipe. Precision CNC machined for a clean fit and corrosion resistance in saltwater environments. A 1/8" wide weld groove reserve at the base provides a clean landing zone for welding the cap to the pipe circumference before the tapered sides guide halyard line smoothly without fraying or snagging.

This cap is sized for Schedule 40 1-inch ID aluminum pipe (1.049" inner diameter). The 1/8" weld groove reserve accommodates the pipe wall thickness for a clean circumferential weld. Verify your pipe schedule before ordering.
Is this corrosion resistant?
Yes. The 6061-T6 aluminum construction provides excellent corrosion resistance in saltwater marine environments. The matte finish can be painted or powder coated if desired.
